Oil Pan: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove splash shield from right wheelwell. Drain engine oil. Remove cylinder block-to-flywheel housing support bracket.
  2. Remove front section of exhaust pipe located below oil pan. Remove exhaust pipe support bracket. Remove flywheel cover.
  3. Remove oil pan bolts, pick-up tube and stiffener (located between oil pan and cylinder block). Remove oil pan and gasket.
