Front Housing & Camshaft Seal: Installation

  1. Lubricate front housing and seal with engine oil. Using press and Seal Installer (T88C-6701-AH), install seal in front housing. Install front housing and new gasket. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article.
  2. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure. Apply silicone sealant to designated areas before installing valve cover. See Figure.
