Valve Seat Correction Angles

  1. If seat is too wide after grinding, a 15- or 55-degree stone can be used to reduce seat width on intake seats.
  2. To remove stock from bottom of seat, use a 55-degree grinding stone for intake seats and a 75-degree grinding stone for exhaust seats. Use 15-degree grinding stone to remove stock from top of all seats.
