Reassembly & Installation

  1. If pump rotors were removed, install outer rotor in housing with punch mark toward rear cover. If seal was removed, use press and Seal Installer (T88C-6701-AH) to install seal.
  2. Apply bead of silicone sealant to pump sealing surfaces. DO NOT allow sealant to enter oil pump outlet ports. To install, reverse removal procedure using new "O" ring and gasket. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
