Temperature Gauge Test: Festiva

  1. Disconnect coolant temperature sensor and connect one lead of Rotunda Gauge System Tester (021-00055) to Yellow wire at the coolant temperature sending unit. Ground other lead and set tester to 74 ohms.
  2. After one minute gauge should read cold (C). Now set tester to 9.7 ohms, after one minute gauge should read hot (H). If values are okay, check Yellow/White wire at instrument cluster connector for a short. If wire is okay, replace temperature gauge.
