Fitting Pistons

Measure cylinder bore out-of-round, taper and piston-to-cylinder bore clearance. Measure with components at about 70°F (21°C). If measurements are not within specification, hone or bore cylinders and fit suitable pistons. See CYLINDER BLOCK  and PISTONS PINS & RINGS tables under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
