Removal & Installation (Aerostar)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove cluster housing-to-cluster screws. Remove cluster housing. Remove transmission shift indicator cable from stud on shift lever. Remove thumb wheel bracket from steering column.
  2. Remove 4 cluster-to-instrument panel screws. See Fig 1. Pull cluster from dash bottom first. Disconnect wiring harness connectors from rear of cluster. Remove instrument cluster.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Check operation of all gauges, lights and signals.
