Wheel Bearing

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire. Remove disc brake caliper and rotor or brake drum. Position dial indicator on wheel hub. Push hub assembly in and out while observing dial indicator. If wheel bearing end play exceeds .002" (.05 mm), replace bearing.
