Oil Pump: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove timing belt and crankshaft sprocket. See TIMING BELT  in this article.
  2. Remove timing belt guide from crankshaft. Remove oil pan. See OIL PAN  in this article. Disconnect crank angle sensor. Remove retaining bolts, oil pump and gasket. Remove oil seal from pump housing.
