Governor Assembly: Disassembly

Remove retaining screws and separate counterweight from governor body. Remove cover screws and cover. Remove plug, sleeve, and valve governor body. See Figure . Remove governor screen.

NOTE: Handle all parts carefully to avoid damage. Lubricate parts with ATF before reassembly (petroleum jelly may be used on gaskets and thrust washers). Use all NEW gaskets and seals.
