AOD-E transmission is used in 4.6L Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis and Town Car. The 4.6L/AOD-E components were not available in the Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis until mid-year 1992. Some 1992 Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis use AOD (non-electronic control) transmissions.
