Removal & Installation (Probe)

  1. Remove horn pad screws from back side of steering wheel. Remove horn pad. Remove steering wheel nut. See Fig 1 .
  2. Punch aligning marks on steering wheel and steering shaft. Firmly pull on steering wheel to remove. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten steering wheel nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
