Removal (Tempo & Topaz)

  1. Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove lower shroud. See Figure and Figure . Remove mounting nuts and bolts from steering column mounting bracket. Lower column until ignition switch retaining screws are accessible.
  2. Remove upper shroud. Disconnect ignition switch electrical connector. Turn lock cylinder to RUN position. Remove ignition switch.
