NOTE: Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS . After repairs are performed, recheck AIR BAG warning light for other fault codes. Perform system operation check. See TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK . On models equipped with passenger-side air bag, AIR BAG warning light may stay on in error. See SERVICE BULLETIN. On models not equipped with passenger-side air bag, go to step 7).
