Pinpoint Test WC - Display Stuck In English Mode

  1. Unplug connector from Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC), located behind center of instrument panel. Turn ignition on. Press E/M button so that cluster is in metric mode. Measure voltage at terminal No. 20 (Red wire) on EATC harness connector. If meter indicates 5 volts, replace EATC. If meter does not indicate 5 volts, go to next step.
  2. Press E/M button so cluster is in metric mode. Unplug C2-2 connector from cluster. Measure voltage at pin No. 32 on cluster (Red wire on mating connector) If meter indicates 5 volts, repair open in Red wire between C2-2 connector and EATC connector. If meter does not indicate 5 volts, replace cluster.
