Removal & Installation (Cougar & Thunderbird)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove cluster trim panel retaining screws. Remove cluster retaining screws. Pull bottom of cluster toward steering wheel.
Reach under and behind cluster. Unplug cluster harness connectors. For supercharged vehicles, disconnect boost-vacuum line from gauge. Swing bottom of cluster out to clear top of steering column shroud. Remove cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.
