Drive Shaft Alignment: Description

Drive shaft universal joint angle is controlled by rear axle upper control arms on both coil spring and air suspension models. See Fig 1 . Whenever upper control arms are removed, universal joint angle should be checked and adjusted if necessary.
If drive shaft universal joint angle requires adjustment, check upper control arms for adjustment cam. If control arms are not equipped with adjustment cams, control arms with adjustable cams may need to be installed (if available). See Figure .
