Drive Shaft: Removal

Mark rear drive shaft yoke and differential companion flange for reassembly. Remove flange bolts and disconnect drive shaft from companion flange. Pull drive shaft rearward until slip yoke clears transmission extension housing and seal. Temporarily install appropriate plug in extension housing to prevent lubricant leakage.
