Removal & Installation (Tempo & Topaz)

Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove shroud screws. See Figure and Figure . Loosen steering column mounting nuts enough to allow removal of upper shroud. Remove upper shroud.
Remove turn signal lever by pulling lever straight out from switch. Peel back foam cover from multifunction switch. Disconnect electrical connectors from switch. Remove multifunction switch. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
