Thrust Bearing

Thrust bearing is located on No. 5 main bearing. See Figure. Thrust bearing must be aligned by prying crankshaft toward front of engine before tightening main bearing cap bolts to specification. Replace thrust bearing if crankshaft end play is not within specification.
