Removal & Installation (Probe)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove 2 horn pad attaching screws from rear of steering wheel. Remove horn pad. Remove steering wheel nut.
  2. Paint alignment marks on steering wheel and steering shaft. Remove steering wheel using appropriate puller. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten steering wheel nut to 29-36 ft. lbs. (39-49 N.m).
