Continental, Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis & Town Car

1. Unplug connector from control assembly. Ground pin No. 4, and connect jumper wire between pins No. 2 and 3 of control assembly connector. See Fig 1 .
2. Apply power to pin No. 2. Indicator should not light. Momentarily actuate push button switch to ON position. Indicator should come on and stay on after button is released.
3. Indicator should go off only if switch is set to OFF position, jumper wire is removed from between pins No. 2 and 3 or approximately 10 minutes have elapsed. Replace control assembly if test results are not as specified.
