Low Oil Level Warning Is Always On
- Park vehicle on level surface. Check engine oil level and adjust as necessary. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Wait for more than 2 minutes. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Check message center for warning. If no warning is displayed, system is okay.
- If warning is displayed, turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect wire from oil level sensor. Wait for more than 2 minutes. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Check message center for warning. If warning is displayed, go to next step. If no warning is displayed, replace sensor.
- Remove cluster. Disconnect wire from oil level sensor. Measure resistance from pin No. 14 of cluster connector "A" to ground. If no resistance is present, replace cluster and affix odometer sticker to door pillar. If resistance is present, repair circuit No. 258 (White/Pink wire) for a short circuit.
