Instrument Cluster: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove lower trim covers. Remove steering column cover. Disconnect shift indicator cable from steering column. Remove cluster trim panel.
    NOTE: Switch module must be disconnected from instrument cluster to remove trim panel.
  2. Remove 5 instrument cluster attaching screws. Pull bottom of cluster toward steering wheel. Reach behind cluster and disconnect 3 wiring harness connectors. Swing bottom of cluster out to clear top pad. Remove instrument cluster.
