Torque Converter Reactor One-Way Clutch Test

TORQUE CONVERTER REACTOR ONE-WAY CLUTCH TEST

Torque Converter One-way Cutch Check:

1. With torque converter removed from transaxle, position holding wire T77L-7902-or T77L-7902-R or equivalent in thrust washer slot.
2. Install one-way clutch torquing tool No. T81P-79O2-B or equivalent in reactor spline while holding wire in position.
3. Turn torquing tool counterclockwise using a suitable torque wrench. If torque tool begins to turn before torque wrench reads 10 ft lbs, replace converter assembly.
