With Analog Instrument Cluster

A red alternator charge indicator is located in the instrument cluster. This indicator glows when there is no alternator output.

If the system is working normally, the following conditions will be present.
1. With ignition switch OFF, charge indicator is Off.
2. With ignition switch in ON (engine not running), charge indicator is On.
3. With ignition switch in RUN (engine running), charge indicator is Off.
