Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

VISUAL INSPECTION
With oil at Full mark on dipstick and engine warm, start engine. Warning indicator should come on briefly in Start for bulb test, then go out. Turn engine Off. Drain 2 quarts of oil from engine. Wait for 5 minutes, then restart engine. Warning indicator should come On and stay On. If indicator does not come On, check the following:
^ Indicator
^ Fuse
^ Oil level relay
^ Oil level sensor.
