Lateral Link, Trailing Arm & Rear CROSSMEMBER: Installation

  1. Position front lateral link on rear crossmember. Install common lateral link mounting bolt.

  2. Install rear crossmember. Attach exhaust system mounting bolts and brake line retaining bracket to crossmember. Tighten crossmember bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATION  table at end of this article.
  3. Install trailing arm. Install parking brake cable to trailing arm. Install rear lateral link to crossmember with common mounting bolt. Install rear stabilizer bar. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATION  table at end of this article.
