Removal & Installation (Probe)

  1. Drain cooling system. Remove accessory belts. Disconnect coolant hoses from water pump. Remove brace mounting bolt from water pump mounting bracket. Remove pump mounting bolts and water pump. See Fig 1.

  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article. Fill cooling system with Ford Coolant (E2FZ-19549-A).
