Water Pump: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Lightly oil all bolt and stud threads before installing, except bolt requiring thread sealant. See Figure. Apply Contact Adhesive (D7AZ-19B508-A) on gasket and install on water pump.
  2. Tighten bolts/nuts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article. Fill cooling system with Ford Coolant (E2FZ-19549-A).
