Valve Lifter R & I: Inspection

Inspect components for damage. Ensure valve lifter bore diameter, valve lifter O.D. and oil clearance are within specification. See VALVE LIFTERS  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS at end of article. Replace components if not within specification.
