Exhaust Manifold: Removal

  1. On left manifold, remove engine oil dipstick tube support bracket. Rotate tube away from manifold stud. On right manifold applications, remove heater hose support bracket. Remove EGR tube from exhaust manifold (if equipped).
  2. On both manifolds, disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold. Remove retaining bolts and exhaust manifold.
