Oil Pressure Gauge Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition on (engine not running). Check oil pressure gauge and warning lights for proper operation.
  2. If warning lights are not working and oil pressure gauge reads low, see INSTRUMENT PANEL FUSE CHECK under INSTRUMENT PANEL TESTING.
  3. If oil pressure gauge reads low, go to OIL PRESSURE GAUGE CHECK. If oil pressure gauge reads high, go to OIL PRESSURE GAUGE SHORT CHECK NO. 1. If oil pressure gauge is not accurate, go to OIL PRESSURE GAUGE TEST.
