Front Brake Caliper: Disassembly

Remove caliper. Remove caliper guide bushing and dust boot. Remove snap ring. See Figure . To remove caliper piston, place a piece of wood in caliper and apply air pressure to brake hose bore. Remove piston dust boot. Remove piston seal; be careful not to scratch caliper bore.
