Seat Belt Warning Light Signal Check

  1. Ground Brown/Black wire at instrument panel connector. See IDENTIFYING INSTRUMENT PANEL 8-PIN CONNECTOR illustration. Instrument panel 8-pin connector is located on right side of dash, near steering column.
  2. If seat belt warning light comes on, repair Black/Brown wire between instrument panel and CPU. If seat belt warning light does not come on, replace light.
