Oil Pressure Gauge Short Check No. 2

  1. Reconnect instrument panel 8-pin connector if previously disconnected. Disconnect oil pressure gauge sending unit connector. Oil pressure gauge sending unit connector is located on right side of engine, behind alternator.
  2. Observe oil pressure gauge reading. If oil pressure gauge reads high, repair Yellow/Red wire between instrument panel and oil pressure gauge sending unit. If oil pressure gauge does not read high, replace oil pressure gauge sending unit.
