Temperature Gauge Not Working

  1. Start engine and warm for 15 minutes. Shut engine off. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Check temperature gauge and warning lights for proper operation.
  2. If warning lights do not come on and temperature gauge always reads cold, see INSTRUMENT PANEL FUSE CHECK.
  3. If warning lights come on and temperature gauge constantly reads cold, go to TEMPERATURE GAUGE CHECK.
  4. If temperature gauge constantly reads hot, go to TEMPERATURE GAUGE SHORT CHECK NO. 1.
  5. If temperature gauge is not accurate, go to TEMPERATURE GAUGE TESTING.
