Seat Belt Warning Light Short Check No. 1

Disconnect Central Processing Unit (CPU) 14-pin connector, located at joint box, above interior fuse panel. See IDENTIFYING WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT illustration.
If seat belt light goes off, go to SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT SHORT CHECK NO. 2. If SEAT BELT warning light does not go off, repair Brown/Black wire between gauges and CPU.
