Test SG: Odometer Does Not Accumulate Mileage Correctly Or It Counts 10 Miles And Jumps Back 10 Miles

  1. Verify Condition

    If odometer will not accumulate mileage, go to next step. If odometer accumulates 10 miles (16 KM), then loses 10 miles (16 KM), replace Electronic Instrument Cluster (EIC). See ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.

  2. Verify Speedometer

    Test drive vehicle to ensure speedometer is working properly. If speedometer is working properly but odometer is not, replace EIC. See ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If speedometer is not working properly, go to TEST SB  .
