Low Oil Level Indicator

This system consists of a float-type sensor on side of engine oil pan, an electronic control module, and an instrument panel warning light. If oil level is approximately 1.5 quarts or less, indicator light will come on and stay on.

After engine stops, the module will not reset for 5 minutes. This time delay allows oil to drain back into crankcase. If engine is restarted during this delay period, indicator light will display last reading.
