Test Tb: Display Scrambled; Segments Half Illuminated; Segments Blinking Or Missing; Always Incorrect Display; Display Stuck With All Segments On

  1. Observe Prove Out

    Turn ignition switch from OFF to RUN position. Display should prove out by momentarily illuminating all segments, momentarily turn all segments off then display current information. If prove out operates, system is okay. If prove out does not operate as specified, replace Electronic Instrument Cluster (EIC). See ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
