Charging System Test: Description

Connected between cluster connector "A", pins No. 17 and 18 is charge indicator warning light and 422-ohm resistor. When charging system problems occur, circuit No. 904 is grounded through alternator and warning light lights.

NOTE: If cluster connector "B" is disconnected, charging system will not work. The 422-ohm resistor allows charging system to operate with a burned out warning light bulb.
