Affected Vehicles:
1992 Taurus Police Package Vehicles

Inspection
If the Taurus Police package vehicle was originally built with the 72AH Motorcraft battery, the battery decal will indicate BXT-65-650. This battery must be replaced.

If the vehicle battery is identified as BXT-65-850, it is the correct 84AH Motorcraft battery and must not be replaced.

Removal/Replacement
