Test 8, EEC-IV -- TFI-IV

1. Disconnect pin-in-line connector near distributor.
2. Crank engine and check for spark.
3. If spark is present, check Profile Ignition Pickup (PIP) and ignition ground wires for continuity and repair as necessary. If ground wires are satisfactory, the Electronic Engine Control (EEC-IV) system must be diagnosed.
4. If no spark is present, proceed to TEST 9.
