Fuel Gauge Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition on (engine not running). Check fuel gauge and warning lights for proper operation. If warning lights are inoperative and fuel gauge reads empty, proceed to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FUSE CHECK 1  .
  2. If warning lights are operative and fuel gauge reads empty, go to FUEL GAUGE CHECK. If fuel gauge always reads full, go to FUEL GAUGE SHORT CHECK NO. 1. If fuel gauge is not accurate, go to FUEL GAUGE TESTING.
