Rocker Arms & Lash Adjusters: Removal

Remove valve cover. Mark component location prior to removal. Remove rocker arm assembly bolts evenly, starting at the ends and working inward. Remove rocker arm assembly.

CAUTION: Rocker arm location must be noted. Intake side shaft contains twice as many oil holes as the exhaust side. Different type stepped ends are used on the rear of the shafts. See Figure.
