Instrument Cluster: Removal

Disconnect negative battery terminal. Remove steering wheel. Remove 2 screws securing steering column cover. Remove cover.
Remove 9 attaching screws from cluster module. See Fig 1 . Carefully pull cluster module outward to gain access to electrical connections.

Disconnect 7 electrical connectors from cover. Remove ignition illumination bulb. Remove cluster module.
Loosen 2 cover hinge screws. See Fig 2 . Remove 6 screws from instrument cluster cover. Remove cover.

NOTE: Ensure rubber seal joining upper and lower portion of cluster cover panels is not ripped during removal and installation.
Remove lower cluster panel. Remove 4 screws attaching cluster. Disconnect 3 electrical connectors from back of cluster. Remove cluster.
