Installation (Crown Victoria & Grand Marquis)

  1. Position power supply to bracket and install. Ensure retaining tabs are secure. Position bracket assembly on instrument panel and install retaining screws. Connect back-up power supply.
  2. Position insulator assembly on instrument panel and install 2 screws and push pin. Tighten screws to 13-27 INCH lbs. (1.5-3 N.m). Position steering column cover and pad assembly on instrument panel. Install 5 retaining screws and tighten to 72-120 INCH lbs. (8-14 N.m).
  3. Install instrument panel finish panel and retaining screws. Install instrument panel moldings. Install headlight switch, retaining nut and knob. Connect battery ground cable. Check AIR BAG light for system faults.
