Fuel Gauge Sending Unit
NOTE:
Inspect fuel tank for distortion or damage. If distorted or damaged, repair or replace tank before testing.
Remove fuel gauge sending unit from tank. See FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT R & I. Connect an ohmmeter and check sending unit resistance as indicated in FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE table. Replace sending unit if resistance is drastically different than specification.

| Full Position (Up) | Approximately 3 Ohms |
| Half-Full Position (Middle) | Approximately 33 Ohms |
| Empty Position (Down) | Approximately 95 Ohms |
