Brake Warning Light System

BRAKE warning light will illuminate when ignition switch is in the START position as a bulb check. With ignition switch is in the ON or ACC position, BRAKE warning light indicates parking brake is engaged or fluid level in master cylinder is low.

On Aerostar models, the BRAKE warning light will also illuminate if hydraulic pressure in either the front or rear brake system is abnormal.
